due to our busssyyyy schedule, we had to celebrated a really really belattteeedd birthday for KIM!
and it was so belated that it became a birthday cum xmas celebration..=S

lunch was at KIM gary..haha..

she wanted to wash her face with that!

after lunch, our dear bel cameeee..and we headed for dessert at Haagen Daz..

aaron's birthday!

it's been a while since i met up with my secondary school pals/siblings..
hence, the rather imprompt movie cum mahjong cum aaron's birthday celebration!

met up with aaron, xueling and yulong for national treasure in the afternoon..
was great watching movie with my movie kakis again..haha..
then was mahjong at aaron's house cos he finally found his mahjong set in his storeroom..

fiesta's cheesecake (yum yum) with fries as candles..
erm..the fries part was requested by xiao di..haha..
celebrated aaron and his sister birthday together cos his birthday is on 22 while his sister's is a day earlier..=))

to help xiao di watch his weight..the smaller piece is for him!

butttt..xiao di finished it in one mouth..time to open THE present..xiao di exploring his new toy..stunt master!

kids are..

kids are born to play games!
this dear boy below is simply a real life example:
when we were at my granny's place today..lucas was playing with his DS (again)..
then he came to sit beside me on the sofa and said 'jiejie..i show u something..'
*the conversation while lucas was playing his DS*
me: what are u playing?
lucas: ben 10..
me: ben 10?
lucas: its the cartoon..
me: oh ok..
lucas: i show u..can change into many different kinds of aliens..got different powers..
lucas: this is my fav..he can do many different things..u see..press 'X, A, R, L' can accelerate..then press 'B, A' can kill enemies..etc etc..

then he went on telling me abt a few combos for each aliens..prob a total of 20 combos?
me: lu..how u know these combos? u play everyday ah?
lucas: no..cos i am the best..i play then i remember..
sometimes i just wonder how kids can just remember all these combos..passwords for the many different games..
i remember how hard it was to make lucas learn his spelling even when he only wants me to teach him..he got restless every 5 mins..run around..or just simply stoning..
but he can just remember all these combos and passwords in 5 mins?

jayme is another example too..when she bought her DS with 'cooking mama'..
then we were all wondering why she is poking her DS..does a 5 years old know how to play a DS?
but when we played 'cooking mama'..we realised she is actually quite gd at the game..
kids are sooo born to play games..

after dinner, ah ma took the fruits out..anddd..
we starting naming fruits in chinese..haha..
imagine what a hard time lucas had when we bombarded him with questions..haha..
well well..u can try naming these in chinese:
papaya
apple
mango
durian
banana
cumumber
wintermelon
strawberry
raspberry
cranberry

yups..we were being bo liao at ah ma's house again..haha..
anyway..xiao yi's having a buffet at her house on 30 december!!
